Clara adores Frida
One evening, sitting on the sofa, Clara opened the book on the page where Frida was in New York in her solo show and said to me: "Mom, I would like to do my show in New York, as did Frida"
"Painting is my way of sharing my inner world. I don't think I'm different: I simply use colors instead of words. My life has changed a lot since I've painted and now it's important for me to use my art to to say that life can be rich, wonderful and inspiring whether you are normal or different. Because, by the way: no one is different "
In art, in whatever form, the differences of race, sex, religion or disability cancel out in the eyes of the other. What remains is the beauty of the dancing souls. Because the only thing that matters is love that has no labels. The Clara Woods project aims to encourage people to put aside even the “implicit” prejudices which, unknowingly, lead to judge the other on the basis of what one sees discriminating him in the small aspects of everyday life. Through Clara's story, it aims to give hope to those who have the strength to believe in their dreams "
